Slow Night in Lowellville

Monday, February 10 Tonight the Jays faced of against Springfield in the semi finals of the league tournament. In the last two meetings between the two, the wins went in favor of the tigers. In previous meetings #12 and #24 ran the show so to win the Jays had to slow them down on defence.

Jayden Scott is OAC State Bound

Jayden Scott and fellow classmate Lucas Sokol traveled to Brecksville Broadview Heights to compete in the Ohio Athletic Committee’s first weekend of State Qualifying District Tournaments.  They competed at the 74lb and 108lb weight classes, respectively.  The top 6 placers in each weight class earn a spot at the State Tournament later this year. Blue Jays JV gets revenge

The Blue Jays traveled to Waterloo to take on the Vikings Friday night. Waterloo handed the Blue Jays a defeat earlier in the season but the boys definitely weren’t letting that happen this time. Nathaniel Smith hit 4 clutch free throws to close out the victory 45-39. Damone Crenshaw led the way with 14 points.
