Our cross country season is slowly coming to an end, as some of the middle school runners participated in their last meet of the season! On Tuesday 10/13 the team returned to the Canfield fairgrounds to complete in the Mahoning Valley Championship race. This was our last regular season meet. The only meets that remain are the middle school state championship, which only a group of runners will participate in, and the high school districts/regionals/state races.
At the Mahoning Valley Championship, the runners set out to reach their best personal records of the season and worked to finish out the regular season strong. The high school boys team took 3rd place overall and the middle school boys took 6th place over all.
Cole Graham also took another first place finish, out of a total of 60 runners!
