Boys 7th Grade Basketball · Fight for 3rd Place

Wednesday, February 12

Today the Jays faced Waterloo in the league tournament. The game would decide who earned third place in the league. The Jays looked good in the first three quarters but 11 fouls in the first half let Waterloo stay in it. Waterloo went 8-10 from the line. Offensively nobody from the Jays stood out. It was a whole team effort to score points with great backdoor cutting and outstanding ball movement. By the end Waterloo won out through their execution of well ran plays. This was a season ending loss for the Jays 27-22. I can say I was proud to coach an excellent group of young men. GO BLUE JAYS!!
