Blue Jays News · Middle School Cross Country Races at Mahoning Valley Championship


Tuesday 10/8/2019 the middle school runners competed in the Mahoning Valley Junior High Championship. The runners tackled the billy goat hill at McDonald for the third time this season. They finished out their season strong at their last meet before some of the will be traveling to the State race on 10/20/2019. For many of our 8th grade runners this was the last 2 mile race they will ever compete in, as next year they will move up to the 5k courses!

Kristen Campbell, Carter Graham, and Alex Rotuna were our top placers finishing in the top 15 in their races and winning a “top finisher” t-shirt!!! The junior high boys team finished 4th overall. Go Jays! 

 

Congratulations for an awesome season middle school teams! The high school runner will be continuing their season this Saturday 10/12 at the Sim Erich Invitational and then will move on to Districts next weekend 10/19.
